What is Hue80?
You know how you go to a store and try on clothes, taking 20 items into a dressing room just to end up buying 2? In the end you wind up wearing a favorite piece from your closet that you previously owned. Trying on clothes tells us one story but wearing a garment over and over tells us another.
That’s how it is launching into your career as a hairstylist. You interview 20 salons. Narrow those down to your top two. Then what? How do you know who to choose? Which salon will turn into your favorite that you’ll want to ‘wear’ over and over again in the upcoming years?
Introducing a new concept to finding your salon home: Hue80.
80 working days to “try on” House of Hue! During these 80 working days, you’ll be hands-on alongside our stylists as an apprentice Tuesday-Friday. The 80 days are broken down into four (20 day) training semesters which will cover:
Customer Care
Hair Cutting
Hair Coloring
Building a Clientele
During the Hue80 you will learn from the pros, schedule your existing clients on Saturdays, and see if the salon is a good long-term fit. Maybe you stay with the team for a few years, maybe you stay for 10 years, and maybe 80 days was enough. You have the chance to decide in an open conversation about your career goals - all while adding the Hue80 education experience to your resume.
